I think that it is dispicable that religious en****y that is supposed to support faith and love is involved in such a despicable act as protesting a funeral because it hates gays. First of all, churches are supposed to support their fellow man by preaching love and tolerance not hate. They have bastardized their own faith by preaching hate and violating a sacrament by protesting something that is supposed to be a private and solemn occasion. Emotions are already going to be high as it is, as the family is going to be mourning the loss of a son/brother/fiance', and hopefully the family will be able to ignore them and take the higher road by not confronting them, because all it will do is empower them and their ill-founded belief (Even though they deserve a good whoopin!). If we ignore what they do, and lessen the impact they have in the media, they will eventually scuttle back to whence they came and crawl back under the rock they came out from under.
My heart goes out to the family and their loss, because he was a hero in every sense of the word. He gave his life during the course of duty protecting the freedoms of those who cannot do it themselves.
