Amen, D.K. It's long past time to quit digging up Mr. Byrd every year just to sell papers. There have been far worse crimes committed that don't get reported nearly as much as the Byrd case. It's over. Let him rest. Do NOT bring it back up next year!

Bmt. Enterprise,Why do you keep scratching the scabs off old wounds?Why do you keep on muck-raking into the death of James Byrd? It`s been 10 years of struggling for both Blacks and Whites alike.The persons that carried out this hideous crime are paying for what they did.The Byrd Family is still probably trying to cope with their loss.Instead of digging through old articals that just might bring up discontent between races,why don`t you write about something that just might bring a smile or a positive remembrance of someone or something.
