Deer Park Pokemon League players getting ready for the Pokemon Regional Championships and Fun Events on April 12, 2008 at the College Park High School in The Woodlands.  They've been practicing at Skirmish Games on Spencer Highway, and are hoping to be able to represent Deer Park well. 

The April 12th event is FREE and OPEN to all Pokemon fans and players.  The Pokemon TCG (Trading Card Game) Tournament will feature prizes including scholarships, trips, trophies, Pokemon cards and items.  Players will be divided into three age groups, and the Top 16 in each age group will win tournament prizes.

All participants of the tournament will also be able to participate in the Pokemon Fun Events, which are also free, and feature a variety of Pokemon themed activities and contest.  These events offer participants the opportunity to win additional prizes!  All participants will win something!

If you, your family, or your friends would like to participate in the event, you are welcome to do so.  Players who do not have their own tournament legal cards will be allowed to participate with the use of an on-site loaner deck.
